At 17:00 on Saturday 10 October, HAGL host SHB Da Nang in round 3 of the V.League 2026/27. The match will not be played in Pleiku but at Quy Nhon Stadium.

Why the move
Pleiku has had heavy rain for several weeks. Despite constant work by the club, the waterlogged pitch is not yet fit for play. HAGL asked to borrow Quy Nhon Stadium and the organisers approved.
Both teams need points
HAGL have no points after two rounds. Last season both HAGL and Da Nang fought relegation until the final weeks, so three points in Quy Nhon matter to both sides.

More than a change of address
Fans in Gia Lai face a trip of almost 170 km. Organisers have to redo ticketing, security, merchandise stalls and sponsor board positions within days. Clubs with digital ticketing and online stores adapt faster: new seat maps are loaded, e-tickets are reissued and distant fans can still buy merchandise online.

Every club sometimes has to play a home game elsewhere. The bigger question is when Pleiku will have a pitch that can handle the Central Highlands rainy season.
